Road Map to the Prescot Area

By Car
Prescot Church stands on a hill, 8 miles east of Liverpool, just off the main A57 Liverpool-St Helens road. It is easily reached from the motorway network (Junction 6 on the M62 and Junction 1 on the M57). There are car parks close to the church.

By Bus
All buses between Liverpool and St Helens (10, 10A, 10X,) stop close to the church and run every 30 minutes on Sundays (much more frequently on weekdays). There are also direct services from Warrington, Runcorn, Widnes, Kirkby and Huyton.

By Rail
Prescot station is served by regular trains between Liverpool Lime Street and St Helens, Wigan and Preston. The church is a 10 minute walk from the station.

Find Churchs

Because parish bundaries can run along roads, fences and even streams it is quite possible that the church nearest you is not actually your parish church. It's important to know which parish you live in if you want to get married in church. But it can also be helpful to know how close the churches are from your location. How to Use First enter your post code in the search box: If you enter a place name instead of a post code we will provide a list of churches in that general area.
