The ancient Rectory Prestecote was granted by King Henry VI to his College at Cambridge 15 Feb 1444. Parliament confirmed the grant in 1445

The last Rector William Booth resigned on being Consecrated Bishop of Coventry & Lichfield 14 July 1447
